This year a thunderstorm rolled through Topeka just as the Prayer for Life was scheduled to begin. But God in his providence allowed the storm to occur on a Sunday, meaning that we faced no traffic or parking problems during the route. We processed around in our vehicle, with the crucifix safe and dry inside, and parked at each corner of statehouse square to say our decades of the rosary. It is impossible to describe the peace of this event, which posits Our Lady and her maternal love of Our Lord Jesus Christ against the demonic barbarism of abortion. See you in 2027!
